ABOUT ME
My name is Jamari Sims, and I am from Flint, Michigan. I am a graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Broadcasting and Journalism. I am seeking an opportunity to expand my skills, gain professional experience, and continue pursing my dream of becoming a late-night talk show host.
During my time at CMU, I made history as the first Black student to create and host my own television show an accomplishment that showed me the power of entertainment, storytelling, and connection.
The person who inspires me most is Oprah Winfrey. Like Oprah, I want to use media not just to entertain people, but to connect with them on a deeper level and positively impact lives around the world.
I’ve always loved making people laugh, bringing unmatched energy into rooms, and creating moments that make people feel good. Entertainment is something that comes naturally to me.
My ultimate goal is to become a global cultural icon who helps shape the future of media while inspiring happiness, connection, positivity across the world, change the game and create something that’s never been done before.
Lastly, to become the most famous person in the world and have the title of “King of All Media and King of Talk”.
A few quotes I live by:
“The world is a better place when people are laughing and happy.”
“Study the greats and become greater take it to another level where they left it off be a scientist.”
”Whatever you dream you can believe, whatever you see you can achieve.”
